The greatr voice of Gregory Porter combines elements of jazz, blues, gospel and soul in disarming interpretations with an irresistible groove. The singer presented a memorable concert at Casa da Música, in 2013, soon after the release of his third album Liquid Spirit – the first for Blue Note, which earned him a Grammy Award for Best Jazz Vocal Album, in 2014.

The US singer, who assumes his artistic affiliation in Nat King Cole, quickly conquered an international dimension singing his own compositions, which were considered by Downbeat as the probable jazz standards of this century.

These works, arranged by W. Fried, M. Fondse and T. Trapp, will assume symphonic outlines in this special collaboration with Symphony Orchestra of Porto, exploring the many expressive possibilities of strongly emotional music.
